Problem Note 59040: An IPC_CONNECTION_BROKEN error and core dump might occur when you expand levels in a worksheet

DetailsAboutRate It

In SAS® Merchandise Planning, a core dump occurs when you expand merchandise levels inside a worksheet that has been set to initialize on open and contains dynamic merchandise members as levels. In addition to the core dump, an IPC_CONNECTION_BROKEN and an IPC_CORRUPTED_DATA error might occur. Once the core dump occurs, you must close the worksheet and have it reset before attempting to reopen. Error messages similar to the following might be generated in the mmx.log:

Error code="IPC_CONNECTION_BROKEN" userMessage="A client connection could not be established, because the planning process or network is down." systemMessage="Connection reset" level="4"
